Macao Salt and Szechuan Pepper Dip Recipe
■ 3 tablespoons of salt
■ 2 tablespoons of Szechuan peppercorns
■ 1/2 teaspoon black peppercorns
1. Heat a small skillet, add all the ingredients to the pan, turn down the heat and stirring cook until the aromas are released. Abour 4 minutes.
2. Grind the mixture with a mortar and pestle, transfer to a blender and blend for 2-3 minutes.
This salt and Szechuan pepper condiment is a great accompaniment for deep fried seafood snacks or dishes.
